Yemen is hell for children

The Dhaka Times Desk "Yemen has become a hell for children" - said the United Nations Children's Organization UNICEF. International human rights organizations are concerned about this news.

Citing a UNICEF report, Al Jazeera reported that 10 million children in Yemen are suffering from severe food shortages and malnutrition. Many of them lost their homes and became refugees.

The international aid organization Save the Children says that nearly 4 million children are so food insecure that they are at risk of death if they are not provided with food. The military conflict in the port of Hudaydah is now threatening food supplies for millions of children in Yemen.

It should be noted that a massive attack began on June 13 with the aim of occupying the port of Hudaydah. Hudaydah port is the main route for humanitarian aid delivery to Yemen. Due to which the food crisis has intensified.
