Public relations officer of the Ministry of Education Abul Khair told the media this information, he said, Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni will visit Jinjira PM Pilot Higher Secondary School Center in Keraniganj on Saturday (November 2) morning.
As usual, this year also the exam will start at 10 am and will continue till 1 pm. It has been informed that the candidates should enter the center and sit in their seats half an hour before the start of the exam.
This year a total of 26 lakh 61 thousand 682 students will participate in the examination in 29 thousand 262 institutions in 2 thousand 982 centers. Among them, 12 lakh 21 thousand 695 students and 14 lakh 39 thousand 987 female students.
Among them 22 lakh 67 thousand 343 people are participating in JSC exam and 4 lakh 2 thousand 990 people are participating in JDC exam. There are 2 lakh 33 thousand 310 irregular examinees in JSC and 30 thousand 291 irregular examinees in JDC examination.
There are also 9 centers outside the country (Jeddah, Doha, Saham, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Tripoli, Bahrain, Medina and Riyadh) with 454 candidates participating in the examination.
It may be noted that the total number of candidates for the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations last year was 26 lakh 70 thousand 333. This year 8 thousand 651 candidates have decreased.
