According to media reports, Russian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Nikolai Udovichenko read out the Russian President's speech at the conference. Putin noted in his speech that Islam and Orthodox Christianity emphasize love, respect and justice for people.

Putin said, for this reason, the religious organizations of both countries have been cooperating with the government and non-governmental organizations of Russia and Kyrgyzstan to strengthen civil peace and unity. Russian President Putin said that we need to preserve our positive historical experience, trust, friendship, mutual respect and understanding for future generations.

According to Putin, the conference, which was organized with the participation of influential religious figures, representatives of government agencies and scientific and expert communities of both countries, is a very timely step.

Russian President Putin also said that he hopes that the role of religious organizations in protecting spiritual, moral and family values in the socialization of the young generation will be discussed.
