Classes start on Sangsad TV from March 29: There will be homework and marks

The Dhaka Times Desk As all the educational institutions of the country are closed due to the deadly corona virus, from tomorrow (Sunday) the subject-based teaching of classes VI to IX will be broadcast on Sangsad Television. The class schedule is published on the website of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi).

In the first phase, the class routine was published from March 29 to April 2. Two class wise classes will be conducted daily. Each class will last 20 minutes. The class broadcasting program will start at 9:05 AM and will continue till 12:00 PM.

Know the routing

Sixth class classes from 9:05 to 9:45
7th class class from 9:50 to 10:30
8th class class from 10:35 to 11:15
Class IX will run from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

It is known that these classes will also be rebroadcast from 2 pm to 5 pm every day. It has been informed that the new class routine will be published on Maushi's website on April 1.

It has been reported that even though it is broadcast on TV, homework will be given to the students in these classes. Marks obtained on this homework will be considered as part of continuous assessment.

In this context, the Director General of Maushi Directorate Professor Dr. Syed Ghulam Farooq said that the teaching teacher will also give homework on the taught subject at the end of the class. For each subject, students will complete the exam as per date in separate ledger. Homework should be submitted to the respective school teacher after school opening. Marks obtained on this homework will be considered as part of continuous assessment.

It is to be noted that since last week, the teaching of various subjects from 6th to 9th class is being recorded in 3 studios of the capital. More than two hundred class recordings have already been completed. The class recording activities of the experienced teachers of the capital are going on every day.

Due to the outbreak of corona virus, the government has announced the closure of all educational institutions and coaching centers first from March 31 and then until April 9.
