ব্রিটিশ সংবাদ মাধ্যম মেট্রোর এক প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়, ৩৭৫ জন করোনা ভাইরাস রোগীর ওপর গবেষণা চালিয়ে এই ৫টি পরিবর্তন লক্ষ্য করেছে স্প্যানিশ চর্মতত্ত্ব একাডেমি।

মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের পরেই সর্বাধিক করোনা ভাইরাসে আক্রান্তের দেশগুলো স্পেন। গত দু’সপ্তাহে দেশটিতে অজ্ঞাত কারণে মানুষের ত্বকে পরিবর্তন লক্ষ্য করা গেছে। তারপরই স্পেনের চর্মরোগ বিশেষজ্ঞরা বিষয়টি নিয়ে গবেষণা করতে শুরু করেন। তারা দেখতে চান চর্মরোগে আক্রান্তদের মধ্যে করোনা ভাইরাস রোগী রয়েছে কি না।

ত্বকে ওই ৫ ধরনের পরিবর্তনের মধ্যে রয়েছে ছোট ফোস্কা, লাল ধরনের ফোঁড়া,পাদস্ফোট বা শৈত্যজনিত ক্ষত ও দাগযুক্ত ত্বকের মতো লক্ষণ।

তবে এগুলোর সরাসরি করোন ভাইরাসের কারণে হয়েছে কিনা তা এখনও বলতে পারছেন না গবেষকরা। যে কারণে ত্বকের লক্ষণের ওপর ভিত্তি করে করোনা ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হওয়ার বিষয়ে নিশ্চিত না হতে দেশটির জনসাধারণকে অনুরোধ জানিয়েছেন গবেষকরা।

উল্লেখ্য, স্পেনে এ পর্যন্ত প্রায় ২ লাখ ৪০ হাজার মানুষ প্রাণঘাতি করোনা ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন। যার মধ্যে প্রাণ হারিয়েছেন সাড়ে ২৪ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ।
