This time, Türkiye has successfully tested a flying car

The Dhaka Times Desk Türkiye has tested a flying car for the first time. The vehicle was successfully tested in Istanbul last Tuesday, its manufacturer, Biker, said.

The vehicle is named after Ismail al-Jaziri, a 12th-century resident of Eastern Anatolia and engineer of the Islamic Golden Age.

In a statement to the Daily Sabah newspaper, the manufacturer, Bayeker, said that the flying car, called Sezari, made by Turkish engineers, crossed 10 meters during the testing of the 230 kg prototype. The test is being conducted under the supervision of the company's Chief Technology Officer Selcuk Bayraktar.

Selcuk also said, 'Türkiye is also preparing for the competition. We will conduct more tests of better quality in the future.' He said it may take another 10 to 15 years to market the car.

According to the manufacturer, the Cesari can currently carry only one passenger. But it will also have some more space in its next version. It is designed for both passenger and cargo use.

This car was first displayed from 17 to 22 September last year. At that time, the car was displayed at a trade fair held at Ataturk Airport in Turkey.

The Daily Sabah reported that the car could also be used for urban transport in the future. Experts also hope that the Cesari flying car will bring a radical change in the transport system in the city in the future.
