Krishna Prakash, Police Commissioner of Pune, India, wanted to see how the local police and police stations are taking action based on the complaints of the common people despite giving instructions. He took Assistant Commissioner Prerna Khate along to witness it himself. The female police officer was his wife. Then Puner went to the police station one by one and started reporting various complaints.

Krishna Prakash appeared at the police station one after another with a fake beard and mustache on his face hiding his real identity. In each police station they report different types of complaints. He complained to a police station that his wife was being harassed by some scoundrels. He complained to another police station that his wife's gold chain was stolen. Expedited action was also taken on their complaints at two consecutive police stations.

However, negligence is seen in another police station. After visiting the local Pimri Chinchoar police station, the commissioner complained that an ambulance driver was demanding exorbitant amount from them for taking a Covid patient. However, the duty officer of that police station did not respond to his complaint. Rather, the officer refused to take his complaint. He clarified that they cannot do anything about this.

Only then did the police commissioner reveal his true identity. The higher authorities have already demanded accountability from the police officer on duty of that police station. The officer in charge of that police station has been asked to give a proper explanation as to why the complaint was not taken.

Such an exceptional and noble initiative of the State Police Commissioner is being applauded by all quarters. Naturally, senior police officials do not want to break protocol. This police commissioner and his other colleagues have taken on the brave role of standing in the queue of common people and checking their rights. Many people have said that the common people of the country will benefit if there are such enthusiastic officers in all units of the administration. Every citizen will get justice.
