On the opening day, an artist talk was organized with Ruhul Abdeen; Where the exhibition organized in a joint effort by Citizen UK was discussed. As part of the National Portrait Gallery (London) Citizen UK initiative, architecture studio Para's Ruhul Abdin and Sadiqul Islam Shehab worked with materials collected by citizen researchers.

These new works of art commemorating the great liberation war of Bangladesh have been placed at the Idea Store at Tower Hamlets in Whitechapel, London. It highlights the diversity of people in the Bangladeshi community of Tower Hamlets. Materials (writings, photographs, maps, photographs, newspaper reports etc.) collected by citizen researchers are displayed on streets, community bulletin boards, outdoor public displays/museums/archives.

The textile sector is reflected through the letters printed on the sari fabric. The sector (which is still a prominent industry in Bangladesh and supplies clothing to many UK clothing retailers) has provided employment opportunities for many Bengalis living in Tower Hamlets. Each letter is decorated in a different color, taking inspiration from the set of postage stamps issued by Biman Mallick celebrating Bangladesh as an independent country in 1971.

The artworks will be permanently housed in Tower Hamlets Idea Store, commemorating the 1971 Great War of Independence and the contribution of the people of East London's Bangladeshi community. News bulletins.
