Realme's Night Photowalk Contest for Young Photographers

The Dhaka Times Desk Youth favorite brand Realme has organized a night photowalk competition for smartphone lovers.

For those who love to capture any memorable moment through mobile, this event has given them an opportunity to express their creativity.

The competition will create a new platform and give photography enthusiasts an opportunity to interact with a renowned photographer. The renowned photographer will give various suggestions to the aspirants to improve their photography skills.

In the first phase of this campaign, photography enthusiasts across the country are asked to submit their profiles. It was also open to various online photography communities. From hundreds of submissions, Realme selected 16 photographers for the photowalk.

Renowned photographer Abhijit Nandy was the overall supervisor of the competition. He has won various photography competitions including the BBC Buzz Photography Competition, Third Annual Photography Exhibition organized by DUPS and IIUPE 2008 (International Inter-University Photography Competition) in the Nature and Life-Style category. He will conduct an online workshop to impart various techniques and tips to select photographers to take the best shots with smartphones. Then, the selected photographers will be taken on a photowalk to test their photography skills.

Photographs are to be taken in four categories – Nature at Night, Street Photography, Portrait at Night and Creative at Night. Abhijit Nandi will also take pictures in these categories. Two university photography clubs will add a new dimension to the campaign by bringing new and different perspectives to their images.

The most interesting thing about this competition is that all the photos in these four categories will be taken with Realme's upcoming 9 Pro series of smartphones.

For youngsters who have a strong passion for mobile photography, this competition will help them unleash their creativity and showcase the beauty of the night in a different way. News bulletins.
