The snake was found after landing at Dubai International Airport on December 10. The aviation regulator of India, DGCA, has ordered an inquiry into the incident. Indian media NDTV has given such information in a report.
An Air India Express B-737-800 flying from Calicut Airport to Dubai has reportedly found a snake in the plane's cargo after landing at Dubai Airport. The passengers were brought down safely immediately. Airport officials and the fire service department rushed in. Later the snake was rescued and taken away.
India's 'Directorate General of Civil Aviation' (DGCA) said a snake was found in the cargo hold of a plane at Dubai Airport. The matter was informed to the airport fire service authorities. The DGCA termed this issue as a maintenance defect. It was also informed that appropriate action will be taken after investigation.
An angry passenger wrote on Twitter that they were stuck at Dubai airport for 7 hours after finding a snake in the plane. However, Air India apologized to the passenger.
