The Dhaka Times Desk The newly appointed President of Bangladesh Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BPCCI) Humayun Rashid met with the Philippine Ambassador to Bangladesh.
This time the vice president of the organization Imran Ahmed was with him. The one-hour long meeting was held at the Philippine Embassy in Dhaka on Monday. During the meeting, important discussions were held on potential business opportunities and challenges between the two countries along with effective trade strategies. In the meeting, the BPCCI President and Vice President outlined the organization's goals for 2024 and 2025 and emphasized the organization's commitment to strengthening economic ties between Bangladesh and the Philippines. In this fruitful meeting, ideas were exchanged on future cooperative activities and partnership opportunities between Bangladesh and the Philippines, where both sides expressed enthusiasm for new opportunities and strengthening of existing trade relations.
BPCCI serves as a leading platform for dealing with various bilateral issues including trade between two of the world's fastest growing economies – Bangladesh and the Philippines. Established in 2013, BPCCI has also played a role in achieving the goals of increasing economic cooperation between the two countries and expanding scope in the cultural field.
