Workshop on implementation of Central Logistics Tracking Platform (CLTP).

The Dhaka Times Desk A workshop related to the implementation of Central Logistics Tracking Platform (CLTP) was held in the BASIS meeting room in a joint initiative of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) and Access to Information (ATUI) to make the logistics tracking system more effective through modern technology for the digitization of the country's logistics sector.

The workshop was attended by Bangladesh Bank, Ministry of Commerce, National Directorate of Consumer Rights Protection, National Security Intelligence Directorate, Courier Service Association, e-cab, various private logistics companies, Information and Communication Technology Department, IT experts and government officials.

Biplab Ghosh Rahul, Director of BASIS and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of e-Courier moderated the event. The main objective of this Central Logistics Tracking Platform (CLTP) is to bring discipline in the delivery and payment of the emerging parcel delivery sector and e-commerce sector to implement the Escrow (ESCROW) policy formulated by Bangladesh Bank. Besides, CLTP has been emphasized in the National Digital Commerce Policy 2018 formulated by the Ministry of Commerce and the National Logistics Policy 2024 formulated by the Prime Minister's Office. All logistics companies (courier services), e-commerce platforms, all payment gateways (PSOs, PSPs, Banks etc.) and various government law enforcement and policy making organizations are connected to the platform through API (Application Programming Interface) with CLTP system. will be Once all these connectivity are completed, it will be easier to receive parcels and provide related information at customer level, similarly, policy and law enforcement agencies will have a clear understanding of the sector, which will play a leading role in building Smart Bangladesh.

The main objective of this workshop is to digitize the country's logistics sector and make the logistics tracking system more effective through modern technology. Simplifying all logistics tracking systems to customers and delivering their information to customers through a single platform. This detailed discussion was presented by Rezwanul Haque Jami, Rural E-Commerce and Head of Commercialization at A2I.

The experts present at the workshop gave several suggestions. Notable among these are: Notifications are sent to customers through SMS from the CLTP platform. Also, the status of customers should change after a certain period of time after receiving the notification. Tokens that customers receive are accrued based on the customer's order date. So that it is easy to track multiple customer orders. Also, advises customer to confirm order information through OTP. The CLTP platform will be integrated with a Central Complaint Management System (CCMS) so that customers can easily report their complaints.

Notably, CLTP is a state-of-the-art platform under the Ministry of Commerce that helps logistics companies manage their cargo operations with greater efficiency and transparency. How to prevent dengue

Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral fever. This fever is different from other viral or bacterial fevers. However, this fever is not contagious in any way. This viral fever can occur alone or in combination with other viruses (chikungunya, yellow fever, Burma forest, flu, respiratory syncytial) and bacteria (pneumococcus).

Dengue fever is divided into two categories depending on the severity of symptoms and fever.

1. Common dengue fever

2. Severe headache.

3. Pain behind the eyes.

6. Nausea or vomiting.

7. A rash or red bumps on the skin.

In case of dengue fever with bleeding:

1. Bleeding from nose, mouth or vomiting with high fever within 2 to 48 hours.

2. Fluid accumulation in chest or abdomen along with fever.

If any of these symptoms appear, seek medical attention immediately.

Wait at home for the first 3 days of fever. On the other hand, sponge the whole body with water every now and then. This will reduce the level of fever. Drink enough water and rest. After that, if the fever does not decrease or if it continues to increase after some time, consult a doctor immediately.

Things to do to prevent Dengue:

1. Try to keep the surroundings of the house as clean as possible.

2. If there are flower tubs or broken plastic bottles, can shells, tires or polythene inside the house, clean them quickly and drain the accumulated water from the flower tubs.

3. Spray or fog at least 3 times a week to kill mosquitoes.

4. You can keep mosquito repellent cream with you while going out.

5. After evening, younger and older members of the household should use mosquito nets.

6. Clean up any accumulated rain water, as this is the time when Aedes mosquitoes lay their eggs.

7. On the other hand, you can use mats along with mosquito nets to avoid mosquito infestation.
