Affordable GSM computer called Raspberry Pi is made!

The Dhaka Times Desk Raspberry Pi is a mini computer that can be used like a smartphone. It is made from unused cellphones and some store-bought electronics parts. A man named David Hunt created this computer.

He built a Raspberry Pi computer and attached a GSM module to it. As a result, speaking devices are also connected through it now. It also has a small TFT screen and a battery.

The total cost to build the entire computer was $158. Of which $48 was spent on the GSM device and $40 was spent on building the Pi device. And the rest of the money is spent behind its screen. The phone interface is designed by David Hunt himself, which makes making and receiving calls easy.

The main attraction of this unique variant of the device is that none of its electronics parts are connected by soldering. Its electronics devices are interconnected. Each device is designed to fit into the case of other devices. As a result, the entire device can be made within hours. The whole device is arranged in a box. This box is used as the main CPU. Its whole package includes a small modem.

ডেভিড হান্ট তার এই জিএসএম কম্পিউটার সম্পর্কে বলেন, ‘এতে সংযুক্ত করা হয়েছে একটি সিম ৯০০জিএসএম মডিউল। ফলে এর মাধ্যমে কল করা, মেসেজ পাঠানো এবং কল রিসিভ করা যাবে। এছাড়াও কল করার বাইরে এর মাধ্যমে আপনি ইন্টারনেট ব্যবহার করতে পারবেন।’ সে যাই হোক ডেভিড হান্ট গত বছর এই জিএসএম কম্পিউটারটি বাজারে ছাড়েন রাস্পবেরি পাই নামে। বর্তমানে এটি পাইফোন হিসেবে পরিচিত।
