Earlier in this type of login, the app or site had to provide a lot of information to Facebook. As a result there was a possibility of loss of user's personal information. But in the current system, all the facilities of the app or site will be available without giving any information about those apps or sites. In case of such login through the app, Facebook will refrain from sharing various information of the user. The app will be prohibited from collecting user's personal information. Facebook maintains their sign-in section on websites and apps through an international mechanism. Users log in with username and password where they see 'Login with Facebook' on various sites. In all these cases, Facebook will connect to the page or app without providing the user's personal information.
Mark Zuckerberg, chief executive of Facebook company, revealed this at the annual F8 developer conference held in San Francisco. "This will give users more confidence in the app," he said. Facebook has currently added this new feature to a limited number of apps, including Flipboard. But Facebook says this feature will be added to all apps this month. Zuckerberg also said in this regard, 'There are many people who are afraid of using Facebook through the app that their personal information will be lost. For them, through this new system, users will keep all the power to themselves'.
In addition, at the F8 conference this Wednesday, Facebook officially launched a mobile advertising network. This allows app developers to create mobile optimized ads. Companies can attract customer attention through that ad. Facebook also unveiled their new Graph Search feature and Timeline system. Other than that, Facebook's new policy is kind of dull. Their old policy was Move fast, break things but the new policy is Move fast with stable infrastructure. The bright attitude of Facebook in the previous policy is much duller in the new policy.
Facebook has made this new policy aimed at app developers. Here app developers are told to make money by creating more apps. Also, as a result of this, commercial organizations have created a large area for their advertising on mobile device platforms.
