Established in ancient times, this traditional mosque is located in Lalbagh, Dhaka. The mosque can be seen a little north-west from the Lalbagh fort.
A man named Khan Mohammad Mirdha built this mosque in 1704-05. The length of this mosque is 38.10 meters and width is 28.96 meters. The mosque has 3 domes and 4 small minarets at the four corners. It is also one of the traditional mosques of Bangladesh. There is a madrasah next to the mosque. The mosque is currently preserved under the Department of Archaeology.
