Journalist Jaglul Ahmed Chowdhury's funeral today

The Dhaka Times Desk The funeral of veteran journalist Jaglul Ahmed Chowdhury will be held on Monday. He will be buried in Azimpur graveyard after the first funeral at Banani Jami Masjid at 11 am and the second funeral at Jatiya Press Club after Zohar.

The funeral of former editor-in-chief, managing director and international analyst journalist Jaglul Ahmed Chowdhury will be held at Banani Jami Masjid at 11 am on Monday and the second funeral will be held at Jatiya Press Club. After the Janaza, Jaglul Ahmed Chowdhury will be laid to rest next to his mother's grave in the Azimpur cemetery.

The Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges has formed a 5-member investigation committee to investigate the cause of death of prominent journalist Jaglul Ahmad Chowdhury in a road accident. Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) Director Md. Moshiur Rahman as the head of the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges has formed this committee. The other members of the committee are - Bhorer paper editor Shyamal Dutta, Dhaka Traffic Division South DC Imtiaz Hossain, Dhaka Road Coordination Authority Director Mahmudul Hasan and Dhaka South City Corporation Traffic Officer Mahbubur Rahman. The committee has been asked to submit its report within the next 3 working days.
