Level of petrol bomb is increasing: 29 burnt in petrol bomb in passenger bus in Jatrabari

Miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at a Glory Transport bus in the capital's Jatrabari Duttapul area last night. At least 29 passengers were burnt in this petrol bomb. 8 of them are in serious condition.

This incident happened around 9:30 pm on Friday night. The burnt people were rescued and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. They are being treated there.

The injured are Zainal Abedin, Istiaq Md. Babar, Salauddin Palash, Salman, Nazmul Hossain, Md. Sharif. Md Rashed, Shahida Akhtar, her husband Yasir Arafat, Salahuddin, Mosharraf Hossain, Md Hriday, Osman Gani, Noor Alam, Mohammad Khokon, Md Momen and Md Harish.

It is known that miscreants hurled petrol bombs on a bus of Glory Transport from Gulistan in the capital when it was passing through the Dudapul area of Jatrabari. At this time, most of the passengers were burnt by petrol bombs.

Meanwhile, when the burnt victims were brought to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, a heart-rending scene unfolded. There were cries all around. The air of the hospital was heavy with the cries of the injured and the cries of the next of kin.
