No Mouse-Keyboard Needed: Coming PCs

The Dhaka Times Desk As the days go by, more and more information technology is happening. Along with this, the old rules and regulations are changing. No need for mouse-keyboard - this PC is coming.

Information technology is advancing day by day. The design of HP's Sprout PCtab and smartphone has seen many changes. But compared to that, there is no change in the modernity of the PC. Desktop PC design is still in its infancy. But Hewlett Packard (HP) has recently been trying to bring some changes to PC design.

According to media reports, HP is adding a touch mat and a built-in 3D camera to a computer instead of a computer control system via a conventional mouse or keyboard.

HP's project computer is named Sprout. It will allow the user to control the computer by creating graphics on the mat. Again, this computer can create 3D printer files, which can also be edited on screen. This computer can also be used for 3D printing. HP is selling this PC in the US for $1,900.

Market analysts feel that HP has introduced new types of PCs at a time when their market management is undergoing a critical phase. But at one time HP's PC market was at the top. But in 2012, China's Lenovo overtook HP in the PC market. But despite the decline in PC sales in the market, HP is trying to regain the top spot in the market by introducing new types of PCs. And so in the implementation of this plan, the HP company is divided into two parts. One segment will have PC and printer business. And another part will have HP's other hardware, software and services.

It should be noted that according to market research firm Gartner, Lenovo currently holds 19.4 percent of the PC market. And 18.8 percent is occupied by HP. These two companies are positioned as number one and number two PC manufacturers.
