The death toll in Mina stands at 1,100

The Dhaka Times Desk The number of Dalits killed in Saudi Arabia's Mina has reached 1100. Saudi authorities have confirmed the death toll of Hajids.

Last Sunday, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Health Khalid Al-Falih said that the death toll in Mina had risen to 769. The number of injured stands at 934.

22 pilgrims from Bangladesh and 40 from Pakistan died in the horrific incident on Thursday. According to the data released so far, most of the casualties in Mina were Iranian nationals, 226. Besides, 248 Iranians are still missing.
