Stars of big teams including Australia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka are interested in playing BPL

The Dhaka Times Desk Apart from Bangladesh, many big stars from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Zimbabwe and Australia are interested in playing BPL.

Bangladesh's famous players Shakib, Tamim, Mashrafe, Mushfiq are staying, but apart from the country's stars, there are also many famous foreign players who are interested in playing in BPL. Among these foreigners are the two biggest stars of T20 Chris Gayle and Shahid Afridi. The number of foreign players interested in playing BPL is around 200. Out of them only 5/6 teams have been fixed already.

Afridi is playing for Sylhet. And Kumar Sangakkara will play for Dhaka. On the other hand, Gayle will want to shine in the Barisal jersey. Comilla made Shoaib Malik final. And Tillakaratne Dilshan will be seen in Chittagong's jersey. Another Lankan all-rounder Thisara Perera will play for Rangpur Riders.

Among the players interested in Australia are Brad Hogg, Shot Tait. Among the players interested in New Zealand are James Franklin and James Fuller. Among the interested South African players are Ryan McLaren, Robin Pietersen, Richard Levy, Yohan Botha. On the other hand, England's interested players include Paul Collingwood, Samit Patel, Michael Carbery, Monty Panesar, Jade Dernbach, Liam Plunkett, Chris Dorjan, Ravi Bopara and others.

Many players of Pakistan national team are interested in BPL tournament. Among them are – Ahmed Shehzad, Wahab Riaz, Asad Shafiq, Aizaz Cheema, Haris Sohail, Rana Naveed, Imran Farhat, Mohammad Sami, Sarfraz Ahmed, Yasir Shah, Sargil Khan, Mohammad Irfan, Nasir Jamshed, Mohammad Amir, Kamran Akmal, Umar Akmal, Umar Gul, Adnan Akmal, Azhar Ali, Sohail Tanveer, Saeed Ajmal, Mohammad Hafeez, Junaid Khan, Taufiq Umar, Zulfikar Babar, Misbah ul Haque, Younis Khan, Mohammad Asif, Fawad Alam. Former Pakistan national team all-rounder Azhar Mehmood is also in this list. Tillakaratne Dilshan is interested in playing BPL again.

Sri Lankan players interested include Upul Tharanga, Nuwan Kulasekara, Lahiru Thirimanne, Sachitra Senanayake, Ajanta Mendis, Farviz Mahroof, Dilruan Perera, Dhammika Prasad, Jeevan Mendis, Prasanna Jayawardene, Kushal Kulasekara.

West Indies: Fidel Edwards, Marlon Samuels, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Suleman Benn, Darren Sammy, Andre Russell, Jerome Taylor, Kemar Roach, Dinesh Ramdin, Lendl Simmons, Tino Best, Sheldon Cottrell, Shane Shillingford, Devendra Bishoo.
