American conservative radio host and talk show host Glenn Beck said, "If NATO follows Article 5 of the NATO alliance after the downing of a Russian plane on the Syrian border, the third world war could start soon." He made this comment in a radio program on Tuesday morning after the Turkish military shot down a Russian fighter jet and the terrorist attack in Paris, the French capital.

Glenn Beck said, 'If anyone talks about Article 5 of the NATO Charter, it's France; It is also likely to say that it is not Türkiye.'

Article 5 of the NATO alliance states that if a member country is attacked by an enemy, the rest of the alliance will stand by the affected country and take necessary measures, including the use of military force. Glenn Beck also said, "If anyone starts talking about Article 5, it will lead us to war."
