The Dhaka Times Desk Saudi Arabia will send drivers who violate traffic laws to school from now on! The Saudi government has announced that those who violate traffic laws will have their licenses revoked and re-admitted to driving schools.

According to media reports, such a provision has been placed in the new law passed by the country's government. Saudi Traffic Department sources said, 'The new law will be effective after all activities are completed at the National Information Center. For this purpose all the complaint papers have been sent to the specialized authorities. They are supposed to submit their report soon.'
An official of Traffic Safety and Aramco's Traffic Safety Program Committee said, 'More than 8 lakh traffic safety bags are being distributed among students in Riyadh and Eastern Province to create awareness about road accidents. The target of distribution of 15 lakh bags has been set this year.
Note that about 72 percent of children and young people die in road accidents in Saudi Arabia. And so the Saudi government is working to create awareness about traffic safety among students through various programs in schools and universities. In our country too, it is necessary to work on creating awareness about traffic safety among school-college students about road accidents.
