The Dhaka Times Desk Germany is going to buy at least 5 Brunswick class battleships. The German parliament has approved the purchase of these warships at a cost of 150 million euros within the next five years. It is assumed that Russia is the target of the purchase of weapons!
According to media reports, the current country has 5 warships of the same class of navy. Two of the new 5 warships are expected to be inducted into the German Navy by 2019.
According to a news of the German daily Sudeutsche Zeitung, Berlin is buying these warships to deal with the new security challenges of the Baltic coast, the Mediterranean Sea and the world as a whole.
It should be noted that the daily news also said that the modernization of the German Navy with the purchase of 5 warships may be considered as a signal from Berlin to Russia.
