A new commentary article published last Monday in the journal Nature Climate Change expressed similar fears. If the United States delays the implementation of the carbon emission targets set at the Paris Climate Conference by 8 years or more, and the rest of the world does the same, it will emit 350 billion tons of carbon more. Because of which the global temperature will increase by .25 degrees Celsius.
