Fossils of dinosaurs and dinosaur eggs are recovered only by digging the soil there. 82 dinosaur fossils were found under the soil in a small area.
In this regard, scientists say, all the dinosaur fossils found in this region of Zhejiang province are about 6.5 to 14.5 million years old. So it is better to call them primitive. 6.5 million years ago, the area of Zhejiang Province was the Jurassic Park. Among the 82 dinosaur fossils recovered, there are 6 different species of dinosaurs and 25 different types of eggs.
Dinosaur fossils are scattered across an area of 11,000 square kilometers in Zhejiang Province. Most fossils are buried in igneous rocks. According to Jin Xingsheng, deputy curator of the Zhejiang Museum, Zhejiang has the largest number of dinosaur fossils among other provinces in China. In a word, it is a sanctuary of dinosaurs.
