সম্প্রতি একটি ভুয়া হোয়াটসঅ্যাপ মেসেজ ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে চারিদিকে। মেসেজটিতে একটি url দেওয়া হয়েছে সংবাদ মাধ্যমে। নতুন হোয়াটসঅ্যাপ ইনস্টলের জন্য url টি হল http://шһатѕарр.com/?colors । যেখানে বলা হয়েছে, হোয়াটসঅ্যাপটি আপনি নতুন রঙে পাবেন। মেসেজটি এমন- ” I love the new colors for whatsapp http://шһатѕарр.com/?colors এই ভুয়া হোয়াটসঅ্যাপ মেসেজই দ্রুত ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে চারিদিকে।
What happens when you click this link?
If you click on the above link then the link has to be shared in your contact group for human verification. This is where the fraud started. After sharing the link in the contact group you are (forced) to install an adware apps. But it does not end here. After installing the app you are prompted to click on one more extension.
Experts believe that all the information on your phone can be stolen through this. However, Google has removed this extension from the Chrome Web Store. But since WhatsApp messages are spreading like wildfire, you have to be very careful about such messages. Because a little carelessness can cause you a big loss.
