Jessia Islam is the new 'Miss World Bangladesh'. The previous winner of the competition was Jannatul Naeem Avril. Bibi Russell, one of the judges of the 'Miss World Bangladesh' competition, has announced the withdrawal of the crown accusing her of concealing information. Then the name of Jesia Islam was announced as the new winner.

Today (Wednesday) in a press conference at the Westin Hotel in Dhaka, it has been announced that Avril's title will be canceled and the first runner-up Jessie will be crowned.

In this press conference organized by the organizers of the Miss World Bangladesh pageant, Bibi Russell, the judge of the pageant, said, “Everyone makes mistakes. Hope, everyone will look at the matter with a forgiving eye."

Judges Shampa Reza and Chanchal Mahmud were also present at the press conference. The other two, Jewel Aich and Sonia Bashir Kabir, were absent.

It is to be noted that the controversy started after the announcement of Jannatul Naeem Avril as the champion in the final ceremony of the 'Miss World Bangladesh' competition on September 29.

Complaints first arose. Ignoring the opinion of the judges, the organizer Antar Showbiz announced Avril as the winner. Then the news of Avril's participation in this beauty pageant by hiding the news of marriage was revealed in the media.

After complications arose over this matter, the organizing organization 'Miss World' authorities were informed about the matter.

"Miss World" authorities said in the press conference that being married or divorced does not prevent Avril from participating in the "Miss World" competition. However, he has shown dishonesty by keeping the news of his marriage secret. That is why he is discouraged from participating in the competition.

After getting that message, show biz 'Miss World Bangladesh' organizers decided to cancel this title of Avril.
