It is known that Abdul Aziz, the leader of Jazz Multimedia, has announced the return of detective character Masood Rana to the screen. He told the media that some progress has been made in that process. Directed by Kazi Anwar Hossain, the camera of the film is opening soon.

This iconic character was portrayed on the big screen in 1974 by Sohail Rana. He also directed, produced and acted in the film.
