Milan will be seen in the role of Saratchandra on the big screen

The Dhaka Times Desk Actor Anisur Rahman Milan has become quite popular on TV as well as on the big screen these days. This time he will be seen in the role of Saratchandra on the big screen.

Anisur Rahman Milon gained wide popularity by acting on the small screen in the beginning. Later, this actor also got a lot of praise for acting on the big screen i.e. in films. He wowed the audience with the movie 'Rajneeti' last year. However, he has been able to prove his acting skills in several movies before that. He was able to identify himself as a Jat actor.

Milan currently has several films lined up. One more movie has been added in this. The name of the film is 'Kathgaray Saratchandra'. This film is being made with around 15 characters from 4 novels of popular Bengali writer Sarat Babu. It is directed by Arifur Zaman Arif. Actor Milon of Dhakai movie has signed a contract to play the central role.

Milan says, 'The amount of work done on Saratchandra's literary works in the films of this subcontinent is really rare. His characters have a different pull. People are easily impressed. His 'Devdas' is a unique character and creation. I think it's a career highlight to be able to work as a writer like that. I am really happy to have the opportunity to do this film.'

Talking about his character, Milan also said, 'I will not tell details about my character now. I want to keep it as a surprise. There is no traditional heroine here either. It will basically be a character based movie. Many talented people and popular faces will be present.'

Actually this movie is not being made from any specific novel by Saratchandra Chatterjee. The story of the movie is based on him and his characters. This director will show Saratchandra in the same frame with his characters. However, it is not yet known who is working on the merger.

It is known that the story and dialogues of the film 'Kathagaraya Saratchandra' have been written by Hashim Akhtar and Md. Karim Dad Along with directing, Arifur Zaman Arif is writing the screenplay. It has been informed that the shooting of the movie will start next month i.e. March under the banner of Event Plus.
