The code on the sticker on the fruit is called PLU. These are different types of codes, which also have different meanings.

Let's find out what the stickers on the fruits really mean:

# If you see a 4-digit code number on the sticker and it starts with a 3 or 4, it means that a farm has been growing the product since the mid-20th century. Which means, it has been cultivated through the use of artificial fertilizers.

# If you see a 5-digit code sticker on a fruit, starting with 9, it means that the fruit is traditionally grown. In other words, it was cultivated in the same way thousands of years ago. That is, this fruit is cultivated in a completely natural way or what can be called organic fertilizers.

If the # fruit sticker has a 5-digit code and starts with 8 numbers, then it should be understood that the fruit is GMO or genetically modified fruit. What stands out in Soja Bengal is the hybrid fruit. However, these hybrid fruits are usually cultivated with chemical fertilizers.
