The Dhaka Times Desk When there is competition in every field, why should there not be competition on the journey? Everyone wants to reach their destination as fast as possible. Hyperloop is going to start commercial journey after bullet train to remove this problem.

In Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the world's first high-speed Hyperloop transit system is about to open. Its speed will be about 1200 km per hour. The Hyperloop is basically a tube, completely deflated to allow the passenger pods inside to travel at high speeds. US company 'Virgin Hyperloop One' has taken the initiative to build hyperloop in Dubai.

A demonstration of Hyperloop technology was also recently held by Virgin in Dubai. The idea of a hyperloop transportation system was first brought to the public by American inventor Elon Musk. Currently, a 10 km long hyperloop track is being built from Abu Dhabi's Al Maktoum International Airport to Dubai Seamant. And there are plans to later extend it 1000 km to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The passenger pods are being designed in a very luxurious and comfortable manner. It has been revealed that 10 passengers can sit in each pod. It is also said that using this hyperloop, around 10,000 passengers will be able to travel between Dubai and Abu Dhabi every hour. So far the Hyperloop and its passenger pods have been demonstrated. The company behind the Hyperloop says it will be able to launch commercially in 2020.
