These two officers are - Md. Atiqur Rahman and Md. Moinul Haque They have been attached to the Banks and Financial Institutions Department by OSD. The order said, \u201cA departmental case will be initiated immediately in this regard. This order issued in public interest will be effective immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Recently, in an audit of Bangladesh Bank, Hallmark Group took a loan of Tk 2,668,400,000 from Rupsi Bangla branch of Sonali Bank by breaking the rules with the connivance of some officials. Together with them, five other organizations raised a total of 3,606,480,000 taka. <\/p>\n<p>At least 20 officials of Sonali Bank have already been temporarily suspended on the allegation of irregularities in giving loans. The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has also started an investigation.
