There are many duas to spend well till death. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said that Allah, the Great and Mighty, said to Atna, "Go forth." He says, “No I will not go out voluntarily.” Allah says, "Go out, even if you don't want to."
Rasulullah (SAW) also said - When the spirit of a believer comes out, two angels meet him (i.e. receive him) and both ascend with him. Then its fragrance is mentioned. Asmanbasi say, “A holy spirit has come from the earth. O soul! May the peace of Allah be upon you and the body you were cultivating.” Then an angel took him to his Lord. Then He said, "Take him for the last time (until the Hour)." On the other hand, when the atna of a kafir comes out, its stench and impurity are mentioned. The celestials said, "An unclean spirit has come from the earth."
Of this it is said, "Take him to keep unto the end." When Hazrat Azrael (A.S.) comes to capture the soul, then death will be a painful moment. However, the believing servants of Almighty Allah find that suffering less.
Allah says, if you read this small prayer mentioned in the Qur'an, the punishment of death will be much lighter. We all know the prayer as 'Ayatul Karsi'. The prayer is as follows:
Ayatul Kursi : ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ ﺎَﻟ َ ﻮُﻫ ﺎَّﻟِﺇ َ ﻪَﻟِﺇ ُّ ﻲَﺤْﻟﺍ ُ ﻡﻮُّﻴَﻘْﻟﺍ ﺎَﻟ ٌ ﺔَﻨِﺳ ُ ﻩُﺬُﺧْﺄَﺗ ﺎَﻟَﻧ ﺎَﻟِﺇ ُّ ﻡﻮُّﻴَﻘْﻟﺎ . ُ ﻩُﺩﻮُﺌَﻳ َ ﻮُﻫَﻭ ُّ ﻲِﻠَﻌْﻟﺍ ﺍﻟْﻌَﻈِﻴﻢ
Pronunciation: Allahu Lailaha Illahuwal Hayyul Qayyum, Lata'Khujuhu Sinatuon Wala Naom, Lahu Mafis* Samawati Wama Fil Aryz. Manjallaji Yash*fau in*dahu illa biyyanih. Yalamu Ma Bayna Aidihim Wama Khalfahum, Wala Yuhituna Bishaiyim Min Ilmihi Illa Bimasaa Wasiya Kursiyuhus Samawati Wal Arza, Wala Yaudhu Hifuyuhuma Wahuwal Aliyul Azim. (Surah Baqarah: 255)
Virtues of reading Ayatul Kursi: 1) When he leaves home after reading Ayatul Kursi, 70 thousand angels protect him from all sides.
2) If you enter the house after reciting Ayatul Kursi, poverty cannot enter the house.
3) If he recites Ayatul Kursi and then sleeps, an angel guards him throughout the night.
4) If Ayatul Kursi is recited after the obligatory prayer, there is only one thing between him and Heaven; And that is death. And the punishment of death is so light; Like an ant bite.
5) Reciting Ayatul Kursi (Sahih Hadith) after ablution can increase the status of Allah 70 times.
