The Dhaka Times Desk The five-episode series of Shaon, based on the story of Humayun Ahmed, is coming this Eid. The play titled 'Bottle Bhoot' was directed by Meher Afroz Shaon.
Meher Afroz Shaon returned to direct. On the occasion of this year's Ramadan Eid, he has produced a new five-episode drama called 'Bottle Bhoot'. This play is a story written by the late Nandit fiction writer Humayun Ahmed.
It is known that Shishutosh has been produced as a five-episode series. Lutfar Rahman Nirjhar has written the screenplay of the series from this children's story. Mamunur Rashid, Azad Abul Kalam, Jhuna Chowdhury, Abdullah Rana, Shahnaz Sumi, Wasek, Preenan, Jayat and many others acted in this series.
Regarding the play, Meher Afroz Shawon told the media, 'Many wanted to know when I will return to directing. They must have got that answer. Although Humayun Ahmed's plays have special roles for children, he never worked only with children. I made this drama based on his story from that idea.'
'Botal Bhoot' series will be seen on Durant TV. From the day of Eid to the fifth day of Eid, this play will be shown every day at 1:30 PM and 8 PM.
