Syed Sadiq Abdul Rahman became the minister of Malaysia at the age of 25!

The Dhaka Times Desk Perhaps no one thought that a young man of only 25 years of age could become a minister. But that's what happened in Malaysia. Syed Sadiq Abdul Rahman became the minister of Malaysia at the age of 25!

Khabar Singapore-based news media The Straits Times and South China Morning Post reported that Syed Sadiq Abdul Rahman became the youngest minister in Malaysia at the age of 25. Yesterday (July 2) Syed Sadiq Abdul Rahman took oath as the Minister of Youth and Sports of the country.

As Syed Sadiq has received praise for being appointed as a minister at such a young age, he is also facing many questions. Many have also raised the question whether he is qualified to lead a ministry. But he is determined. In this regard, Syed Sadiq Abdul Rahman said that he will prove to all the doubters that he is the person who deserves this appointment.

It is to be noted that this youngest minister also rejected a scholarship from Oxford University while active in politics. His political guru is Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.

Syed Sadiq will be 26 years old on December 6 this year. Before joining politics, Sadiq was also quite popular as a debater.

He was adjudged the Best Speaker in the Asian British Parliamentary Debating Championship. Syed Sadiq Abdul Rahman started the discussion after winning the 14th national election of Malaysia.
