The Dhaka Times Desk As described in the Qur'an and Hadith, Allah has commanded us to do some things as well as prohibited us from doing some things. But because we don't know, we often do many forbidden things which are actually prescribed by the Quran and Hadith.
1. You cannot swear by anyone other than Allah. Swearing in the name of one's grandfather, one's Hayat, mosque or Qur'an cannot be expressed in the head. ___ Abu Dawud 3250 Nasa'i: 3778
2. Istinja with animal bones is forbidden, because the bones of animals slaughtered in the name of Allah, which people throw away, are food for the Muslim jinn. Sahih Bukhari.
3. Do not urinate in the bathroom. Al-Hadith (Ibn Majah: 304)
4. No one can marry a Jew, Christian or polytheist. (Al Qur'an.)
5. It is forbidden to eat or drink with the left hand, because the devil eats with the left hand. Riyadus Salehin.
6. Do not urinate or defecate facing the cable or vice versa. __ Sahih Bukhari: 395
7. The Prophet (PBUH) forbade children to go out in the evening and asked to keep the doors and windows of the house closed, because then the jinn come out.
8. Animals may not be used for shooting or target practice. ___ Muslim: 5167
9. Punishment is forbidden for anyone other than the husband. ___ Al-Qur'an, (Ahzab: 33)
10. It is forbidden to sleep with your head on your chest, because this is how Satan sleeps. Sahih Bukhari.
11. It is forbidden to buy, live and guard idols. __ Al Qur'an (Maidah: 90, Ibrahim: 35)
12. No animal shall be burnt to death. ___ Abu Dawood 2677
13. One should not look at one's private parts while wearing clothes. __Muslim (794)
14. No one can be hurt in the face. ____ Muslim: (6821)
15. Haraam for men to wear silk clothes and leather items.
16. It is forbidden to eat the meat of an animal if it is not slaughtered in the name of Allah or if it is slaughtered in any other name.
