The Dhaka Times Desk France, Germany and Britain are boycotting the US dollar on the issue of Iran! The three countries have agreed on a non-dollar mechanism to establish trade relations with Iran.
France, Germany and Britain are going to boycott the US dollar over the Iran issue. The three countries have agreed to a non-dollar process to establish trade relations with Iran, quoted Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov as reported by Iran's Radio Tehran.
The United States unilaterally pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal, known as the JCPOA, last May. In this context, various companies in Europe came under heavy pressure from Washington to break trade relations with Tehran.
Lavrov said that considering the interests of small and medium companies, France, Germany and Britain have decided to establish non-dollar trade relations with Iran.
The rest of the nuclear deal signatories have also agreed to find ways to protect their trade from US sanctions.
At the same time, Lavrov strongly condemned the reimposition of illegal and unacceptable US sanctions against Iran.
