Taslima Nasreen claimed that the police removed a stone from the front of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kolkata. The removed stone is divine in shape. The stone was covered with vermilion. Taslima wrote in her tweet that the intention was to build a temple where the stone was. This controversial writer got very excited about that.
Taslima claims that if the temple is not allowed then 'the mosque should also be demolished'. Taslima Nasreen demanded that the airport mosque be removed, citing it as a hindrance to air traffic.
Basically, this issue started with the removal of vermilion stone as deity from the front of Academy of Fine Arts in Kolkata. A few days ago in the premises of the Academy of Fine Arts, worship began by applying vermilion on a stone under a tree. Many strongly protest against it. The police later removed the stone.
