The Dhaka Times Desk Once again the domestic film 'Halda' is going to three international film festivals. 'Halda' will be in competition at the 11th Film Festival The Godness on the Throne in Kosovo from August 30 to September 4.
Producer Tauqeer Ahmed's 'Halda' has been invited to compete and participate in three international film festivals. Halda will participate in the competition of the 11th Film Festival The Godness on the Throne held in Kosovo from August 30 to September 4. Also, the domestic film 'Halda' will compete in the 14th Kazan International Festival of Muslim Cinema in Russia and the 21st Religion Today Film Festival in Italy.
Kazan International Festival of Muslim Cinema is going to be held on September 4. On the other hand, the 21st Religion Today Film Festival will run from October 4 to October 11, 2018.
Producer Tauqeer Ahmed said in this regard, 'Halda' will compete in 3 international film festivals of three countries. It is certainly a matter of pride for us.'
This year Taukeer Ahmed produced 'Fagun Hawaay'. It is built on the story of the language movement. Actor Yashpal Sharma of Bollywood's Lagan fame, Siam Ahmed from Bangladesh, Nusrat Imroz Tisha, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Raonak Hasan, Saju Khadem, Afroza Banu and others have played the lead role in the movie.
The movie 'Fagun Hawaay' is currently awaiting release. The release date may be announced anytime, said the producer Tauqeer Ahmed.
