Archaeologists believe the coffin is about 2,000 years old and has remained undiscovered for a long time. Dissenters thought it might have contained a curse that, if opened, would make the Egyptians cursed again. Finally, the mystery of the mysterious coffin was revealed. But the most surprising thing is that instead of Alexander's body or any curse, three human skeletons and a reddish liquid were found in it.
Egypt's Ministry of Antiquities formed a committee consisting of a group of archaeologists to open the coffin. On opening this coffin, a strong stench spread around. So after closing the coffin again for a while, the coffin was fully opened with the help of Egyptian military engineers. The secretary general of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities, Mustafa Waziri, said, "The bones of three people and the reddish liquid of decomposed body parts were found in the coffin. It appears to be a family burial. The condition of the mummies is not so good, only bones remain after complete melting.”
He also said that various security measures were taken before opening the coffin. Even the residents of the vicinity were safely evacuated, thinking that the gas trapped in the coffin for thousands of years could spread around and cause fatal damage. Many, however, had already left the area out of fear. Among the three skeletons found in the coffin, one of them had an arrow wound in the skull, and experts believe that the three may have been soldiers of the Pharaonic period. The team of experts is conducting various types of research to uncover the secret of the skeleton inside this coffin, which is 3 meters long and 2 meters high, weighing 27 tons.
