Usually, large stars located in the middle of galaxies create black holes through supernova explosions at the end of their evolution. But what is the extent of that narrowing? You will be surprised to hear that. For example, the diameter of the Sun is about 6.9600000 km. If this massive volume could somehow be reduced to just 10 km(!) it would become a black hole.
