Rashid fined Muslim women's burqa!

Fines for wearing a burqa or niqab have been enacted in Denmark. This rule has been implemented in the country from the 1st of this month. Several women have already been fined for wearing the niqab.

Rashid Nakkaj, a citizen of France, announced to stand by Muslim women after the Danish government imposed a fine on the niqab. Rashid Nakkaj will pay the fines of women who will be fined for wearing burqa or niqab.

According to media reports, Rashid Nakkaj is a French citizen of Algerian origin. He is currently working as an executive in a business firm. Rashid Nakkaj came into the discussion as a candidate for the presidential election held in France in 2007.

After Rashid Nakkaj made this announcement, he received the information of 8 women fined so far. He also expressed his intention to go to the Danish capital Copenhagen soon to pay their fines.

According to this new law in Denmark, if a woman violates the ban on wearing niqab, a fine of 1,000 kroner and a second violation of 10,000 kroner have been provided.

It should be noted that in 2011, fines were enacted for the first time in France for wearing burqas and niqabs on the streets. Until now, several countries including Belgium, Austria, Holland have imposed fines and imprisonment on burqa and niqab.

Rashid Nakkaj has paid the fines of half a thousand women who have been punished in at least 6 countries since 2011, according to media reports.

However, the Danish authorities have criticized Rashid Nakkaj's announcement of paying this fine. Danish People's Party leader Martin Henriksen said Nakkaj's plan amounted to a thumbs-up at Danish law. I condemn his action.

Henriksen reminded that along with fines, women who defy the ban must also pay taxes. However, Rashid Nakkaj has agreed to pay the tax along with the fine. Not only that, he also said that he would cooperate in the legal fight if the niqab violators are arrested and thrown in jail. He also expressed his determination to appear before the European Court and the United Nations Human Rights Organization if necessary.

Rashid Nakkaj claimed that he visited Iran in March this year to support 29 women imprisoned there. The Iranian government arrested the women as per their law for not wearing hijab. Rashid claimed that he spent 77 thousand euros to free them.

Rashid said, I am strongly against the imposition of ban on not wearing burqa or niqab on the streets. I believe in individual freedom.

Note that Rashid Nakkaj was born in France in 1972. Rashid's parents are Algerian. He is a citizen of both France and Algeria. Rashid Nakkaj is a rich businessman. He also does politics. In 2007, Rashid Nakkaj announced himself as a candidate for the presidency of France. However, he could not contest for the presidency because he could not fulfill the conditions of the election.

On the other hand, in 2013, Rashid Nakkaj denied his French citizenship and announced that he would participate in the Algerian presidential election. But he could not be a candidate because according to the Algerian constitution there is no opportunity for dual citizens to participate in the presidential election.
