Selling of cows, buffaloes, goats, sheep and goats has started in different parts of the country. Many are also preparing to bring cattle to the markets of the capital.

Veterinary medical team of Animal Husbandry Department will monitor animal huts during upcoming Eid to prevent mixing of steroids and chemicals in cattle feed. He also said that measures will be taken according to laws and regulations along with monitoring so that no one can mix steroids to make cows healthy ahead of Eid.
In response to the question that artificially fattening cows can be known as Bife, the Director General of Animal Husbandry said that Indian dexamethasone injection is artificially applied to the muscles of beef. Cows are fed different tablets of steroid group. Cows stop urinating after feeding this tablet. Due to which water starts accumulating in the body. As a result the cow looks plump. If this cow is not slaughtered within the specified time, it may die or its meat may be reduced further. Eating such beef is very harmful to health. The action of these drugs is not lost even in intense heat. Because of which it can have long-term effects on the human body. Eating this type of beef can damage human organs including kidneys and liver. Even cancer can occur in the human body.
The Director General of the Department of Animal Husbandry said that cows fed steroid group tablets or injected with dexamethasone are very calm. They cannot even walk properly. Beef thighs look much meatier. Due to excess hormones, the whole body accumulates water and looks fat. If you press the cow's body with your finger, it will show a hole. By looking at the cow's breath, it can be confirmed whether the cow has been fed tablets or not. Cows breathe faster when fed with tablets. Cow looks very tired and panting all the time. Excessive saliva or foam on the cow's mouth is also another sign of fattening the cow artificially, he said.
