The picture you are looking at is the Khamis Mosque in Bahrain. It is believed by many to be the oldest mosque in Bahrain. It is a mosque built during the Umayyad period.
The construction style of this mosque tells that the mosque is very old. Exact information about its maker is not known. It is to be noted that the Holy Prophet sent Companion Hazrat Ala Hazrami to the then ruler of Bahrain and Qatar, Munzeer, with the invitation to Islam. Perhaps that is why the mosque was built here.
