Ingredients:
- One kg of fish
- One cup of ghee
- Four teaspoons of turmeric powder
- Five onion slices
- Two teaspoons of coriander powder
- Six cloves
- A cup of sour cream
- Two tablespoons of raisins
- Five cups of basmati rice
- Five tablespoons of crushed almonds
- Four teaspoons of chili powder
- Two pieces of cinnamon
- Five tomato slices
- Three liters of water
- Two milliliters of lemon juice
- Salt to taste.
Method of preparation:
- First apply lemon juice and turmeric powder to the fish and keep it for 30 to 45 minutes to marinate.
- Heat two tablespoons of ghee in a pan.
- Fry basmati rice in it for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Now add salt, turmeric powder and three liters of hot water.
- Cover with lid on low flame.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and cover with a lid.
- In another pan add ghee and fry raisins and almonds in it and keep it in a bowl.
- Now add chopped onion in this ghee and wait until it turns brown.
- Grind the masala with chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and little water.
- Now cook the marinated fish in it for five to eight minutes.
- Stir in a cup of water, tomato paste and curd and cover with a lid.
- When it thickens, take it off the stove and pour it into a bowl.
- Now in a big pan first heat with ghee, layer fish, raisins and almonds.
- Now cover it with a lid and keep it on the stove for five to eight minutes.
- Well, a fish biryani with a different taste was made
