Campaign on the streets of Dhaka for the release of 'Meghkanya'

The Dhaka Times Desk Meghkanya's team is walking around the streets of Dhaka singing movie songs and carrying posters. This is being done as part of the promotion for the film's release on Friday.

Ferdous and Nijhum Rubina acted together in 'Meghkanya'. The film is directed by Minhaj Avi, produced by Jaya Media Productions.

A ZM Jahangir Kabir, leader of Jaya Media Production, said, 'We have been running this campaign on the streets of Dhaka for two days. In the pickup van, we are playing the film's music through the sound system. The car is decorated with posters and banners. The film team including our heroine Nijhum Rubina is with us.

Jahangir Kabir also said, 'We have started to become FDC. From Mirpur, I am going to the cinema halls in Tikatuli. Going to private college-university, TV channel again. I am also talking to newspapers and online.

We have some Facebook pages where campaigns are run regularly. Once upon a time there was a lot of publicity for a movie in our country before its release. But now they are not seen. When radio was popular in Bangladesh, broadcasting was done on radio. There are several movie TV channels in Kolkata who start promoting the movie quite a few days before its release. If there was such a system in our country, our films would have gone much further.'

The story of 'Meghkanya' will be seen in:

Maya (Nijhum Rubina) is not able to identify her child. He never lies. But he is not able to identify the father of the child. The reason is that Fahim (Firdous) left the country with his daughter in her womb. No contact since then. Forced, the mother gives her daughter to the ashram. At the ashram, Maya sometimes goes to caress the child. The story of the film 'Meghkanya' is based on such stories.'

The screenplay and story of the film 'Meghkanya' under the banner of Jaya Films is written by director Minhaj Abhi himself. Gazi Rakayet has done the dialogue work of the film. Mahfuz, Shampa, Rebecca, Sabrina, Hrida etc. acted in other roles. Actress Sucharita played a special role.
