The Dhaka Times Desk Country band music icon Ayub Bachchu passed away this morning (Thursday). The death of this talented artist cast a shadow across the country.
Ayub Bachchu's first funeral will be held tomorrow (Friday) after Friday prayers at the National Idgah Maidan adjacent to the High Court. And he will be buried in the family cemetery after the Janaza at his village Chittagong next Saturday.
This information was given by cultural personality Nasir Uddin Yusuf Bachchu. He also said that Ayub Bachchu's children are outside the country. They will come to the country tomorrow (Friday). Burial will be in the family cemetery the following Saturday.
He said that it has been decided to take the body of musician Ayub Bachchu to the National Martyr's Minar to pay his last respects. Ayub Bachchu's coffin will be placed in the central Shaheed Minar premises at 10:30 am on Friday. His body will be kept there to pay his last respects till Friday prayers.
It should be noted that today (Thursday) at 9:55 am, Ayub Bachchu breathed his last, the leader of the popular band LRB. He was 56 years old at the time of his death. This popular artist of the country was born in Chittagong district on August 16, 1962.
According to family sources, last night, Ayub Bachchu suffered a brain hemorrhage. After being brought to the hospital around 9 am, doctors declared him dead.
According to family sources, Ayub Bachchu went to a music program in Rangpur on the night of October 16. He was feeling unwell since Wednesday night. Relatives and Rashed took him to the hospital from home around 8 am. He was rushed to Square Hospital. Doctors on duty declared him dead at approximately 9:55 am.
