The engagement ceremony started from the evening of June 21 at the private residence of Hema-Dharmendra couple in Juhu flat. The exchange of rings takes place in traditional tradition in the presence of both family members. Ahana was wearing a pink-purple Indian dress. In the engagement picture, Ahana's future husband Swami Vaibhav Vora is proposing on his knees with a ring in his hand and Ahana's father, Bollywood's evergreen hero Dharmendra, is standing behind Ahana with a smile.

Hema Malini is very excited about this engagement and marriage. He said that Vaibhav is a very good boy and everyone likes him a lot. He blessed for Ahana and Vaibhav. Though the engagement is done but the wedding date is yet to be fixed. He said that the marriage date will be fixed through the conversation between the two families.

Interestingly in Ahana and Vaibhav's love affair, it is Ahana's father Dharmendra who basically plays the role of the matchmaker for the pairing.
