ঘনিষ্ঠ সূত্র হতে জানা যায়, গত বছর ঈদে শিকাগোতে শ্যুটিং চলাকালীন সময়ে আমিরের সন্তান আজাদের আয়া ফারজানা যে আমিরের মা এর কাছে রান্নায় প্রশিক্ষণ প্রাপ্ত, সে শ্যুটিং টিম এর সদস্যদের জন্য স্পেশাল খাবার প্রস্তুত করেছিলেন এবং সেই খাবার প্রত্যেকেই খুব পছন্দ করেছিল। তখন আমির খান কথা দিয়েছিলেন – মুম্বাইয়ে ফিরে মায়ের হাতের রান্না করা খাবার গ্রহণের দাওয়াত দিবেন সবাইকে।

সূত্র আরও জানায়, আমির খান কিছুদিন পূর্বে নতুন বাড়িতে উঠেছেন এবং নতুন বাড়িতে থিতু হয়ে সবাইকে নিয়ে ডিনার পার্টি আয়োজন করেছেন তিনি। পার্টিতে ‘ধুম থ্রি’ এর টিম ছাড়াও আমিরের স্ত্রী Kiran Rao, child Azad and his mother were present.
