According to international media sources, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has warned of canceling the $1,300 billion arms sale agreement with Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia has announced that it will cancel the deal if it is found to be misusing the weapons purchased from its country. Justin Trudeau said this in the country's parliament yesterday (Monday).

Trudeau's announcement comes as there has been an uproar over the brutal killing of anti-monarchy journalist Jamal Khashoggi inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey.

Justin Trudeau said weapons exported from Canada must be used only with full respect for human rights. In the past too, we have stopped arms exports after seeing misuse of our arms. We would not hesitate to do it again.

It should be noted that according to an agreement of 1 thousand 3 billion dollars signed between the two countries in 2014, Canada is gradually supplying weapons to Saudi Arabia.
